Very fascinating. I could imagine that in the chest area there might be some kind of pre-lung, where air passes through and exchanges oxigen and carbondioxide with the blood. Birds have something like that, the air passes through the lung into air sacks, so thet it passes the capillaries twice and no air just sits in there unused. And Birds and reptiles aren't so far apart, so that might be something to consider? Maybe for some kind of energy boost, since that would be right next to the heart.

Also, can Naga swallow large chunks of food like snakes? Then that would need some extra considerations regarding the jaw, chest and pelvis bones.
