Rich Bastard

This is the Haasavan, the private yacht of Shaizho Mosaan, a very wealthy businessman and crime boss. He was wanted for a number of crimes including racketeering, arms smuggling and sponsoring corporate espionage during the Imperial Expansion Era and Second Psychic War, but with the fall of the Empire, he was seen by many as a folk-hero, and most of his crimes were largely forgotten. Some systems still respect the laws of the old regime however, and have bounties out for his capture. Numerous bounty hunters and mercenaries have tried to apprehend Mosaan, but none have succeeded.

The Haasavan is 870 meters in length, and is capable of self-sustained superluminal flight. Internally, it's a mix of offices, crew and passenger cabins and spacious relaxation areas. The ship features a large two-story pool, with a waterfall connecting the two levels. Shaizho uses his ship to entertain guests and clients alike, as his business ventures continued well after the Empire fell, and the human-inhabited worlds were divided amongst the victors.

The aft section of the superstructure houses a hangar capable of housing four Alani-Grylls Class Shuttles for in-system transportation of goods and passengers, as well as several fighters for defense and scouting.


The ship is well armed and armored against attack, boasting a phased-shielding rating comparable to that of an Imperial battleship, and a directional weapons array capable of dissuading all but the most well-equipped opponent.

The ship was originally built as a mobile command vessel for a Felorian expeditionary force, but was given to Shaizho Mosaan as a gift for his services to the Felorians during the war. He smuggled a large cache of weapons to an imprisoned phalanx of Felorian commandos on an Imperial prison world, allowing them to not only revolt and escape, but capture the entire planet and its orbital garrison.

This ship was roughly inspired by the curves and ridges of the Starship Enterprise, which I've been ogling quite a bit as of late.
