Prehensile Tailed

A feral, and rather ductile Venrock female and her friend (possible a cousin) about to grab some lunch.
They're based on the prehensile, or monkey tailed lizard.

While much of Midden is civilised, with cities and countries on every continent, there is a large area that remains untouched by their modern technology. The Green Sea is a massive continent on Midden's equator, covered in dense forrest that in many places, is over a mile thick. The Vulpesants took refuge in this natural fortress during the Great War, as the Venrock expeditions to explore it would fail, with entire squads of armored infantry dissapearing to never be found again. The Green Sea is considered to be the cradle of life on Midden, where it originated at the dawn of time. Feral Venrock and Vulpesant species both inhabit the massive forrest, which consists of tropical jungles, dense rain forrests and even snow capped mountains and volcanoes. They are remnants of the time when it was the only continent inhabited by their species. Enormous stone and metal cities lay undisturbed by their hands after thousands of years, the roots of the mile-high trees intertwined throughout their structures. The deeper you go into the 'sea', the darker it gets, with the only light being that which might filter through, or that produced by the abundant bioluminescent mushrooms (don't eat!).

This species would live in the treetops and canopy of the Green Sea, and would be more consentrated around the coast, although there would be those deeper into the center of the continent.
