Marceline the Vampire Queen's Axe Bass by JazzLizard Marceline the Vampire Queen's Axe Bass by JazzLizard
What time is it?!?

Adventure time with Marceline's Axe Bass! This is my latest creation for my Etsy shop and are up for sale on a per-order production basis. They're made entirely out of pine, with nylon strings and painted with spraypaint and then clearcoated to last. This is my MK1 model, I always improve on a design as it goes along, and I've already got Marshall Lee's axe guitar in the works for a commission client.

This is not a functional guitar, but I have humored the idea of making one, since I'm getting better at woodworking as each day goes by.

As always, enjoy, and stay mathematical!

Yup, they're available on my etsy shop. If they're not, that just means they're currently sold out.

THAT is quite excellent! 8D Looks a heck of a lot better than the one I made out of cardboard at the last minute for Halloween last year! :bucktooth: This may just be one of the best axe-basses I've ever seen though, and it'd be incredibly cool to see a working one. :'D

Well thank you! I actually have a new version that looks even better, in my opinion: [link]

Duude, That's epic! :0 I kinda wish I had the tools necessary to do wood-working. I have a good-friend that does wood-working so usually when I need a sturdy prop I commission him to make it for me but if I'm making something myself I'm pretty much limited to cardboard and aluminum foil tape. :dummy:

This is impressive and it'd be great of you did convert it to a functional one!

I don't know anything about the cartoon it's from but it's a great little idea. Play music and hack your way through the critics with the same "axe". ;-)

I will be sure to pose it here if I do make a functional one. And yes, I might have to warn some of my customers to not use it as a real axe XD
