Neetra Varinglas was an officer onboard the submarine Crosigor, in the early days of nuclear powered submarined on Midden. The Crosigor was an experimental submarine, that superheated water using it's reactor, and expelled it out jets mounted on outriggers near the front of the vessel. Neetra was cited for several acts of courage and was honored by the navy after the Corsigor suffered a reactor breach, and the ship sank to the bottom of the Iska Expanse, a nearly 3 kilometer deep ancient crater in the sea bed. Neetra was personally resposible for raising the submarine to the surface through a series of dangerous and unothidox maneuvers, which were ultimately successful. As a result of such intense exposure to radiation tho, it was noted that Ms. Varinglas's growth was stunted, making her look much younger than she actually is. Lieutenant Commander Neetra is now serving as a commissioned officer on board the Ielsikar, another highly experimental vessel which uses gill-like mechanisms running down it's sides to propell itself.
Oh yeah, and her outfit is standard issue deck wear for combat excersizes. Dark blue diagonals on either black (officers) or gray (enlisted men).
She reminds me of me a few years ago, I wore bright pink cord flares, checkered minidresses and flashed peace signs at people...I still do that on occasion. Oh dear. She is brilliant though, and she has much better hair than I ever did! Nice story .
Eeerm, I'm not sure, none that really express jsut how crazy i was. I dunno if you ever saw my deviation, think it was my first or second one I submitted, its a photomanip pf me with a hat and wings on. That hat was bright pink and so was my hair and that spikey collar. Though that wasnt at the height of my crazyness. I had a fab photo somewhere of me in a checkered sleevless minidress with blue tights on that were covvered in pictures of hippies and flowers, but I dunno what happened to it. I probably burnt it when I went through my goth phase a while later.
Younger, indeed! Not only does she have an active poise and lit-up face, but she seems to lack those organic frontal impact buffers that characterize the grown. There's something about that curled up tail and her hip-tossing tout that really makes this picture.
