Jemoa Male

A juvenile Jemoan male, lacking the markings of his female counterpart, but with heavier armor covering his carapace since he is of a different variety. The Jemoans do not require water sources to sustain themselves, as all the hydration they need is acquired from their prey. They can feed once, and not have to eat for up to two weeks, and if food is sparce, they will venture out of their burrows to hunt.

Male Jemoans will fight if they encounter one another, and even though their venom is not nearly as deadly to one another, the duels usually end with one of the two combatants withrdrawing with a lost limb. They mark their territory by spraying some of their venom onto the sand, as it will be detected by approaching males. The more potent it is, the more pungent it is.
